Esports is an amazing extracurricular to bring to schools, especially small schools, to provide students who don't enjoy the traditional opportunities provided. You don't need a budget; you just need students willing to compete and a school and community that support the endeavor.

Leslie Gerberman is a 16 year educator and is currently the District Librarian at Palacios ISD. She has managed the Esports team for 3 years. The student presenters have all been part of the Esports program since its beginning in Spring of 2023.
