BOLT Conference 2025

Building a school or classroom library is more complicated than buying what you like at Barnes and Noble or Amazon. Once you layer on the requirements of The Reader Act, an educator really needs to know what they are expected to do under the law. This session will focus on the steps of the process with best practices. We will cover the whole process from selection, to weeding, and book challenges. Content will be great for anyone new to the classroom or library as well as seasoned teachers, librarians and administrators.
